- Windows 11 64-bit supported; ARM64 supported in 11.1+ product lines
- Administrator rights to install virtual drive drivers
- About 44 MB free for the installer, plus space for image files you store

Antivirus false positives
Low-level virtual drive drivers and free-installer partner offers often trip heuristic engines. Version 12.2.0 specifically fixed false alarms from antivirus software. Always confirm the hash, then see the antivirus guide.
Why 12.6 matters
Release notes mark 12.6.0 as containing an important security fix. Free 12.5.1 was withdrawn after a supply-chain incident. Read the incident summary before reinstalling older mirrors.
